The Story Behind the Coffee:
This small society of coffee producers reside in the Marcala Region in La Paz, Honduras. They were founded with aims to improve economic, social and environmental conditions for farmers in the region, focusing on reducing poverty and promoting sustainable development.
This society, COMSA, was founded in 2001 and now has 1,573 members focused on innovation, constant learning and training, and commitment to their community.
This Rainforest Alliance certified lot was harvested at peak maturation and fermented on sun dried patios at 1,250-1,700 meters above sea level.
